We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to join our educational community. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality healthcare services to students and staff while promoting health and wellness within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid and emergency care for illnesses or injuries.
- Manage and dispense medications according to prescribed guidelines.
- Maintain accurate health records for students and staff, including immunization and health screening documentation.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) as required.
- Develop and implement health plans for students with chronic conditions or special healthcare needs.
- Provide education and resources on health-related topics for students, staff, and parents.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to address individual health needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations and school policies.
- Spearhead health and wellness activities
- Liaise with HMO provider of the school
Qualifications:
- Philippine Licensed Nurse
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Experience in school nursing is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work onsite at our campus in McKinley Hill
