Job description
A School Nurse is a professional who is there to make sure that every student has access to mental and physical health services throughout the day. They work with teachers and parents or guardians on behalf of their patients in order to create care plans for them when needed, including medication management if necessary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Medicine issuance and documentation; maintenance of clinic supplies
- Administration of First aid
- Support the clinic for al health services functions for students, faculty and employees
- Works with Head School Nurse to implement all Covid protocols
- Consults testing for Covid as needed
- Provide support for the following programs (1) Drug management program – Organizing the RDT (random drug test) (2) Organize the APE (annual physical exam) (3) Annual flu vaccination program
- HMO – enrollment, termination, update info, email forms to members and assist concerns
- Injured athletes – Student accident reports submission to prudential within 1 month
- Provide assistance in processing bills for suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a licensed Nurse
- With updated PRC License Updated
- Basic Life Support Certificate
- Has clinical work experience (Occupational Health or Hospital)
- Able to work onsite our McKinley Hill Campus
- Available for 5 days work week
