The Researcher and Executive Assistant will serve as a critical partner to the School President by providing high-level research support while managing essential executive assistant responsibilities. This dual-role position is designed for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong research skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who can seamlessly switch between providing in-depth analysis and managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Research Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed research on education policies, industry trends, academic initiatives, and other topics relevant to the strategic goals of the school.
  • Compile and synthesize data to produce reports, presentations, and briefs for the School President.
  • Assist in preparing research-based materials for meetings, conferences, speeches, and internal communications.
  • Analyze academic data, institutional reports, and external benchmarks to provide insights that support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather relevant research data and information.
  • Maintain an organized archive of research documents, reports, and findings.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities

  • Manage the School President’s daily calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the President, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Organize and prepare agendas, materials, and follow-up documents for meetings.
  • Coordinate special projects and initiatives as directed by the School President.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders communicating with the President’s Office.
  • Assist in organizing school events, board meetings, and other official functions.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Public Administration, Business, or similar). Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in research, data analysis, or a related field, and executive assistant support experience. Experience working in academic or non-profit sectors is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen ability to distill complex information.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research databases.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the education sector or working closely with senior executives in academia.
  • Familiarity with educational policies, institutional research, and strategic planning.
  • Project management experience.
